Icky tiles

This is the tileset I did ever and it was on a Commodore 64, that i snagged and put onto Windows. I used KoalaPaint to draw the tile set and it was going to be used for a cheesy game on there, but I never got around to it. I'm working on making them more eyeball friendly, cause back on Commodore 64, (Best 8bit computer around), you had to use rainbow colors to make rocks! ...that or Grey/Black dithering, and dithering sucks. The tileset itself is like 4 years old.

The whole concept was referenced from Dragon Warrior, tiles. You can't really get Uber innovative with 16x16 resolution tile mapping, its best to just borrow because you can only do a hill so many ways and have it still look like a hill......you get the idea...and for that matter, dragon warrior tiles look like Ultima tiles!...
